When it comes to food, I’m the adventurous type… I don’t mind trying out stuff especially while travelling. I enjoy the experience of exploring little known places to discover delectable food in varied ambiance. Here’s a pretty nice local resto we happen to pass by in one of the small streets in Paris. I was charmed by it’s restaurant front.
Another must see is the Notre Dame Cathedral, it’s not the largest in world but one of the most famous – a gothic masterpiece I must say. I think Notre Dame was even made more famous and remembered up to this age because of Victor Hugo’s book “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” that later on was turned into a movie.
How can you miss the white pureness of The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica atop the hill in Montmartre. The Basilica has managed to keep its beaming white color due to the Château-Landon stones which were used for its construction. When rain pours, the stones react to the water and secrete calcite, which acts like a bleacher.
