Calesa

Horse

Back home in my country, we call a horse drawn carriage a CALESA.  A mode of transportation introduced by the Spaniards during the 18th century and during that time used only by the so called ‘Illustrados’.  I have always been fascinated by it,  for me it is a symbol of elegance.  ELEGANCE … just how this horse perfectly reflects the word.
